- The Challenge: There has been a decline in support for the Democratic Party among Black men in Ohio. This trend is a glaring call to action. The decline in support for Democrats among Black men is a concerning trend. We’ve seen support drop from 95% in 2008 to 80% in 2020.
- Our Goal: We aim to conduct a comprehensive study of seven Ohio counties. From this study, we’ll develop a messaging strategy and plan of action to increase African American men’s engagement in the 2024 general election. The information gathered will also serve as a valuable reference for similar efforts nationwide.
